Puma Future Rider

Animation for the new Puma Future Rider, infusing a futro style: a vibe of old school 80's gaming scene. To get to the concept, I took several days to check out old school animations, those that reflect the elements of the 80's take on the future.
Puma Future Rider shoes illustrated

Figures are hand-drawn frame by frame using pencils and markers with the help of a lightbox.
Short tests are done to ensure fluidity.
Using a lazy susan, I attached a 120cm illustration to create the illusion of sliding on a really long rail.
One of my favourite test shots. This move is inspired by longboarder Lotfi Lamaali who perfected the art of dancing on a longboard.
